Short Term Rental Agreement

For the use of 2469 Chamonix Lane, Unit E3, West Vail,  I ____________________(Tenant), agree to pay Jill Hilty (Owner) a daily rate of $150 for _____ days starting _______________, 2009 at 1 pm and ending ____________, ____ A.M. I agree to give a security deposit of $300 which shall be returned within 10 days after vacating the premise. In the event I/WE do not leave the premises in as good condition as when I/WE arrived, I/WE forfeit the deposit. Jill Hilty, at her sole discretion, shall determine if the premise is left in good condition. A holding fee of $100 shall be due on __________, 2009 and shall be credited to the security deposit. The security deposit shall be due 30 days prior to the rental date. The total payment of rent shall be due on or before ________ days prior to the starting date.

We agree that it is our responsibilty to bring our own bedding and to leave the property in the same condition as it was in when we arrived.

Cancellation Policy:

  • You may cancel without penalty up to 30 days prior to starting date.
  • Cancellation between 30 days and 15 days prior to starting date will be charged the holding fee.
  • Cancellation between 15 days and 3 days prior to the starting date shall be the total security deposit.
  • Cancellation 3 days prior to the starting date shall be 1/2 of total rent plus security deposit.
