Question/Answer
How much money can I make as a Real Estate agent selling homes?

Depends on your staying power. The first year for many can be tough. The rule of thumb is to have at least 6 months in the bank to cover getting going. Real Estate commission checks depend on your market place. On average, if you sell a home for $200,000 your check, after your split with the company, will be somewhere between $2800 and $3920. After the first year you should be selling 12 to 24 homes a year. After 3 years you should be making over between $65,000 and $150,000.
